Parent/Student Portal Info

Online Registration for Central Heights ISD

Central Heights ISD uses Ascender Parent Portal for Online Registration. This applies to all new student enrollment, maintaining student data throughout the school year and for returning student registration the month before school begins. Parents can also use Parent Portal to check student grades, attendance, tardies, etc. Each student is required to have at lease one active Parent Portal account. Refer to the documents below to assist you with setting up a new account for new students.

We also offer Ascender Student Portal for our middle school & high school students. This allows students to check their grades and attendance. Refer to document below to assist students setting up their account.

What is Ascender Parent Portal?

Ascender is a web-based parent portal application that provides parents and guardians access to current student-related information including attendance, assignments, grades, and discipline. The application also supports a district-level parent account for accessing multiple students with a single login. Parents can subscribe to customizable attendance and grade-related alerts for each student. CHISD has a special website that parents should bookmark for later access.

The Parent Portal website can be found on any CH website, top right. Here is the actual website:

What is Ascender Student Portal?

We are now offering a Student Portal, very similar to Parent Portal, but it is a way for students to log in to their own account, check assignments, grades and attendance. Students will ONLY be able to access their information, not siblings info. CHISD has a unique website that students should bookmark for later access, this is different than the Parent Login page.
